- many people are shot to death. towards the end, a bunch of men are harpooned with harpoon guns. the crew try to get the terrorists to drink poisoned coffee, but the find out and make one of the crew drink it instead. a few men are thrown overboard. an oil rig and ship are rigged with explosives to get the british government to pay a ransom.
