An exercise in bad taste...
Space_Mafune9 May 2003
This film is unbelievable in its audacity. What's up with this? Bruce Lee (oops not really it's actually Bruce Le) pretends to be dead to fight back against those who attempted to poison him. This features lots of scenes of Bruce Le training, while enveloped in some time of 60s psychedelic haze on the screen, for his fights with a bunch of henchmen dressed in tuxedos, a weapons master, two sumo wrestlers and finally a black boxer while trying to rescue his wife from the hands of those who attempted to poison him! Talk about being in bad taste..yeech is this one ever! Still I have to admit I laughed at this quite a bit.

This is truly not the True Game of Death

Hi yaaa!!! That's the sounds of Bruce Li not Bruce Lee. This movie starts off with a brutal scene where two guys poison Bruce Lee (the real one) by putting poison in his drink. The footage of this is Bruce having drinks with Han from Enter the Dragon. From there the movie is just funny. Bruce Li can't fight for anything and there is corny 70s music playing every time he fights. Bruce Lee's girl friend which is supposed to be Linda Lee, is kidnapped after Bruce wouldn't do a movie that the mob wanted him to do. Sounds familiar? When he reaches the HQ of the mob he fights many men excluding a sumo! There is also a motorcycle scene and he wears the same clothes as the original Bruce. In the end they show clips of the real Bruce to make the movie a little better. This is the best part of the movie because they show clips of the real Lee and the fact that it's almost over. I personally like watching cheap imitations for the laughs.

Warning: Spoilers
This film DOES NOT contain Bruce Li.

Also the 1st reviewer mentions the poisoning with Han from ETD, No, the clips of the real Bruce Lee are from the 'Fist of Unicorn' Press conference (This film also uses footage of Bruce's funeral and 'The way of the Dragon').

It's a very low budget cash in on the then Unreleased 'Game of Death' - While I don't know it's release date the use of the disco version of the 'Jaws' theme and the fact GOD came out in 1978 makes it more likely to be around 1977.

I'd only suggest this to big fan's of bad films or people like me who collect Bruceplotation.

or people who enjoy continuity errors... Watch as a car changes make!, Count the costume changes of Alice! Watch as a different actor appears as Shao Lung...
