Title itself is an variation on Czech distribution title of the earlier film (Upír Nosferatu), and a scene in which characters watches fictitious vampire film is tribute to this classic.
A scene of a fictitious vampire film is showed and the vampire in it (portrayed by films director Juraj Herz) resembles Bela Lugosi's portrayal of Dracula.
In this film is shown for the first time car prototype Skoda 110 Super Sport, which was later (in a black version) used as bloodsucking car in the later film. Both films are based on short stories by Czech writer Josef Nesvadba.
