This nice and sensitive Austrian film may be considered one of Europe's finest youth movies: The outstanding pedagogical value makes it most apt for school screenings. The movies displays the critical view and profound scepticism traditional Europe shows for sport canons and studs. For students that do not excel in sports this movie can be a valuable support for preserving their self esteem because it shows that in European society, also in youth culture, higher emphasis is given to sensitivity and intellectual values than to brute force.

It proves that pupils who do not match mates in physical strength and vitality should rather focus on their internal values and that they can be even more successful.
