- On the Worldvision Home Video releases in the early 80s, the title cards on every Season 1 episode were inexplicably silent, though you could sometimes hear the echo of the last note as the episode began.
- When originally aired and on early home media releases, episodes from the second season onward plastered a shot of Scooby and Shaggy running and then stopping to cower (taken from The Ghoul, the Bat, and the Ugly (1979)) over the original shot of Scrappy carrying Scooby into the waiting room where the whole gang were waiting (Lennie Weinrib's voice however was not re-dubbed - meaning his distinctively different Scrappy voice continued to be heard for several more seasons). Subsequent re-runs and home media releases oddly use the first season opening titles, creating an inconsistency as Fred, Velma and Daphne were no longer appearing.
- The original syndicated end credits (as seen also on early home media releases) was the traditional Hanna-Barbera late 70s style of a black and white drawing featuring Scooby and Scrappy - identical in style to those seen on Godzilla (1978) and Casper and the Angels (1979). Subsequent re-runs and home media releases oddly use Hanna Barbera's generic 'explosion background', which was originally used for one hour repeats featuring episodes from The Scooby-Doo/Dynomutt Hour (1976) and not specific to this show.
