Sex & Nudity

  • Many male native tribal warriors wear minimal clothings and their butt cheeks are exposed. Then several topless tribal women are featured prominently, including teenage girls. The penis of a very small boy is briefly visible as well.
  • While kissing, a man and woman discuss, in veiled terms, possibly having sex but they are interrupted.
  • A man and woman kiss and begin to get intimate in a forest. The man removes his shirt and the woman shirt, and unbuckled her bra as she straddles him. They are briefly interrupted but then continue as they kiss. The scene ends and there is no nudity.
  • "Natural" tribal nudity at the beginning of the film during a parade including men's buttocks and topless women.
  • A man is in wet underwear which clings to his hip region, including penis. The sides/back are somewhat see-through. Difficult to see.
  • There is a passionate scene between the main characters - breasts are seen, kissing, lying on one another. Pants remain on.
  • Several innuendos throughout.

Violence & Gore

  • Some threats are made to people throughout.
  • Characters are killed in a non-graphic fashion. This includes a close up of a stabbing in the first scene.
  • There are scenes of gunfire and bow-and-arrow attacks.
  • Some are violent and result in bloody aftermath.
  • An animal is shot at and killed by soldiers. Some blood.
  • Soldiers carry guns and fire them at people several times.
  • An animal is shot in the neck twice with tranquilizer darts. It groans and falls over.
  • A man is shot and killed with a tranquilizer dart.
  • A dangerous car chase, where a man is bloodied and injured when his car crashes.
  • A Molotov Cocktail is dropped from a plane and sets a man on fire, launching him through the air.

Profanity

  • Religious swearing several times.
  • H*ll is said once.
  • D*mn is said twice.
  • Some minor name calling.
  • "B*tch" is muttered once and said a second time.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Three different characters are smoke cigarettes throughout.
  • A man mentions that he did drugs in college.
  • The main characters drink something that some tribesmen give them, then say they are "feeling weird".

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The onscreen violence and killings throughout most of the film are frightening, especially for young viewers.
  • The sudden appearance of tribal warriors is frightening.
  • A few jump scares.
  • The ending climax include a lot of violence and action.
  • The capture and killing of the dinosaurs is intense.
  • The "baby" (dinosaur) is endangered as it is pursued by poachers. Kids may be scared by these scenes.
