Robert H. Gardner's Academy Award-nominated documentary "The Courage to Care" looks at Jews who survived the Nazis' atrocities, as well as people who helped the Jews, calling attention to the issue of making a moral decision in desperate situations. The interviewees' stories make one appreciate the sacrifices made by those who had everything to lose by helping the Jews escape certain death. With the events of 1933-1945 becoming a distant memory as the survivors die off, it's more important than ever to keep these stories alive so that they never get repeated. I recommend the documentary.
