When I first saw this film in the early 90s, it reminded me of the spaghetti westerns produced in Italy: Leading actor Franco Nero (Django, Die Hard 2), music by one of the best music composers worldwide, Ennio Morricone, the pictures and the style of making this film. Peter Patzak, a famous director in Austria made a film with Franco Nero and actors from Austria and Germany. As I like westerns made in Italy I enjoyed this film from the beginning where Franco Nero plays a stranger coming into a small village in Styria, Austria and nobody knows anything about his intentions. When he opens the door of the inn, everybody looks at him very sceptically ...
I recommend this film to anyone who loves mystic films and/or spaghetti westerns.
