Sex & Nudity

Violence & Gore

  • The main character discovers a carful of corpses (not shown). He runs back to his car, then graphically vomits on the road
  • The man pushes the villain out of a moving car; only mild scratches and bleeding.
  • A family is murdered offscreen - it is implied that the children are also victims as well.
  • A bloodied finger is found by the main character whilst eating.
  • Several police officers are murdered offscreen but the aftermath of their bodies is quite graphic. One of them has had their throat blown off (presumed by a shotgun), another was shot in the stomach. Another had their head partially blown off.
  • A police dog is shown to be eating or at least licking one some of the blood off a police officer.
  • Two police officers are graphically shot - one in the head (blood spurts out); the other is shot in the neck and blood spurts. Both are quick shots.

Profanity

  • Several uses of strong language, including "fuck". The F-word is used 4 times.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • All three main characters are shown smoking at least once.
  • There is no instances of alcohol or drugs.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The main villain - John Ryder - is extremely intense and psychopathic. As a result; the entire film is intense since he stalks the main character and kills people that get in his way.
  • This film remains intense but the intensity of the violence is somewhat not as impactful as it was when it was released.

Violence & Gore

  • A man is taunted by the villain with a knife in a car - more so intense but there is violent intention.
  • A woman is torn in half offscreen - it is more so intense and distressing rather than gory.
  • The villain is flown through a car window when a car brakes hard; he then threatens the main character with a shotgun. The main character restarts the car and hits him and he is sent into the air. The main character checks to see if he is dead but when he turns his back; the villain gets up. The main character suddenly fires the shotgun and the villain is graphically shot twice - blood sprays and splurts.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • When the people at the road are working, the villain threatens the main character with a knife and whispers to him four words and threatens to kill him if he does not say the four words.
  • In the scene where the road work is ahead when the person says he can go the villian threatens the main character with a knife and tells him to say four word I'd he dose not he will die but he kicks the guy out of the car where he later stalks the main protagonist
  • At the end of the movie a young woman is torn in half by being tied to a semi truck ( Offscreen ). Extremely distressing and frightening.
