Storyline
Plot Summary |
The last meeting with the magical Pan Tau in a story that is not only for children. Its hero is the actor Rudolf Karásek, who fifteen years ago was a famous representative of the children's beloved Pan Tau. Today, he only remembers his former glory and seeks solace in alcohol. One day, however, a Barrandov Studios employee appears at his villa, where he lives with his daughter Hanka and her two sons, and hands him the script for a new film about Pan Tau. During rehearsals, however, it becomes clear that Karásek is not up to the difficult role. The director starts looking for a replacement or a double. His assistant Alena brings him Mr Novák, who seems to have fallen out of Pan Tau's eye. He handles all the difficult scenes with aplomb. Karásek becomes jealous of the double's success and his popularity with the children who play him in the film. Written by EuroFan |
