Lakhpati wants Shankar to cover his losses and introduces him to crime boss Gulati (Roopesh Kumar). Shankar refuses to work for Gulati as he does not want a life of crime. Shankar comes on the radar of Inspector Gokhale (Suresh Oberoi). Yashoda has an accident and Shankar needs Rs 600 to get blood supply for her. Sunanda goes to Lala to sell herself for Rs 600. Shankar finds out in time and decides to return to Gulati.
Via Gulati Shankar joins a group of criminals, whose leader is a generous man called Malik (Sharat Saxena). Shankar gets good money and is able to get Yashoda treated. Malik refuses to intervene between Shankar and Sonia, as Malik himself comes from a poor background and respects poverty as a great teacher. Sonia warms up to Shankar after he saves her from Lucky who was going to sexually assault her after mixing some aphrodisiac in her drinks. Shankar takes Sonia to his home as he doesn't want Malik to be embarrassed by her. But now, Lucky tells Malik that Shankar was the one who seduced Sonia and took her away. After Malik's heart sickness, Shankar takes over and gets into business terms with Khan. Shankar and Sonia get married and move into their new house. Shankar's one and only wish is to reunite with his mother, but she refuses and requires him to leave the crime world. Shankar is convinced that in the real world might is right.

Shankar spares Gokhale and kills Khan's henchmen.
Shankar returns home to Yashoda, understanding the error of his ways. But now, Nagarajan attacks and is killed by Shankar. Shankar hands over the file to Gokhale, but then Thakkar reveals that he is working for Khan. Khan reveals that he is the man who tried to buy Yashoda all those years ago. Shankar engages Khan in 1:1 combat, and when Khan is losing, he shoots at Shankar, but Yashoda takes the bullet. Gokhale kills Khan and Thakkar.
