- A man strips naked after killing a woman (we only see him from the waist up but he clearly bends down to remove his pants/underwear).
- A man is lying naked on a bathroom floor after being shot; we see his bare butt.
- A man and woman kiss, undress and lie back on a bed; he kisses her bare breasts and briefly thrusts on top of her. Scene lasts about two minutes.
- A rape occurs. He thrusts violently while she struggles and he appears to climax (his bare butt is briefly seen). This lasts about 30 seconds.

- A policewoman confronts an armed robber in a supermarket and tries to get him to surrender; he turns his gun on her and she shoots him repeatedly, knocking him through a large window into the street (very bloody and in slow motion).
- A policewoman is called to the scene of a murder, where she and a detective discuss how the victim was chased down and shot at point-blank range; the corpse is briefly seen with some blood but nothing graphic.
- A woman is riding in a helicopter with a man when she suddenly falls out the door; the man grabs her hand, but then lets go and she falls to the ground. The woman then wakes up in bed, revealing the scene to be a nightmare.
- A policewoman realizes her father has been abusive to her mother; she slams him against a wall, handcuffs him and throws him in her car (they later reconcile).
- A man is propositioned by a prostitute and appears to accept; the scene cuts to him stripping naked on a rooftop and rubbing her blood-soaked clothing all over his body, implying that he has killed her.
- Two women are walking down a hallway when a man grabs one of them from behind in a chokehold and shoots the other (an enormous amount of blood splatters on the glass behind her); he then strikes the first woman in the head, knocking her unconscious, before leaving.
- A man puts a gun to the head of another man sitting in a car and is about to kill him when a woman fires at him, hitting him in the arm; the man in the car hits the first man with the car door as the woman and the first man exchange fire; the first man runs out of bullets and flees and the woman chases him but loses sight of him when she is nearly run over by a tractor-trailer.
- A man hiding in a woman's bathroom digs into a bullet wound with his fingers and removes the bullet (very bloody and he screams in pain). Later, another man enters the bathroom and the first man shoots him (the second man is later seen in a hospital).
- A man suddenly leaps onto a woman as she is sitting in bed and violently rapes her; she manages to kick him off, grab a gun and they shoot at each other until he flees and escapes by smashing through a window, leaving blood on it.
- A woman punches a policeman in the face, knocking him out.
- A policewoman and a man shoot at each other on a subway platform. The man is hit in the shoulder and falls over a garbage can; the woman is also hit in the shoulder and falls into the path of an incoming train, rolling away at the last second. Her arm is very bloody and she is unable to use it for the rest of the film.
- A man leads a policewoman on a running gun battle through city streets. They repeatedly fire at each other, shooting out various car windows; the woman commandeers one car and hits the man with it, throwing him into the air. He manages to get up and continues firing at her until he runs out of bullets; she then shoots him several times, killing him (some blood but not too graphic).
- A man crosses paths with another man (randomly) and shoots him twice, killing him (not especially bloody but in slow motion).

- A man takes a can of beer from the fridge, opens it and takes a drink
- A woman pours a man a glass of whisky, which he drinks. Later in teh scene she pours herself one and takes a drink and then lights a cigarette while pouring more whisky into her glass "neat"
- A women asks for a cigarette whilst in the hospital, we see her go to light it.
- A patrolling policeman is seeing lighting a cigarette in his cruiser.
Frightening & Intense Scenes

- Throughout the film the antagonist shows increasingly blatant signs of psychosis, including talking to himself, signs of a God complex, and stalking.
- The various murders, and in particular the (rather abrupt) rape scene, are very intense and disturbing.
