Sex & Nudity

  • Carl and James find a nude picture of a woman from the waist up, but her chest has been scratched out of the picture, so no nudity can be seen.
  • Carl watches his sexy neighbor in lingerie from his apartment. Not much is shown, and it's not very bad at all.
  • A man adjusts his crotch.
  • 2 cops are stripped down to their boxer shorts and tied up together on a playground merry-go-round in such a way that it appears to several people that they are engaging in homosexual activity.

Violence & Gore

  • A car explodes. No one is injured.
  • Carl and James briefly wrestle with each other. This is for comedic effect.
  • Carl, James, and Louis find a corpse in a trash can. This isn't violent, but it may be disturbing for some, though it's meant to be funny. The corpse is seen constantly for most of the movie, and all of it is meant for laughs.
  • A man is strangled to death with a wire (we see the murder from a distance, we briefly see the strangulation marks, and the dead body is seen throughout the film in a mostly comical way). The killing is the most violent moment in the movie, but it's not bad at all.
  • 2 men are shot in the butt with a BB gun. Both scenes are played for laughs, and neither scene is at all violent.
  • A villain tasers another villain.
  • There's a large-scale final battle in which Carl, James, and Louis take on lots of bad guys. Lots of slapstick fighting occurs, and none of it is very brutal. Carl hits several men in the face with the butt of his gun, James, flips several men over, and Louis fights off a few men with punches and kicks. None of this is brutal or violent.
  • Two very disgusting scenes in which two guys in their underwear are splattered with large amounts of excrement as a prank. The first time, they are pranked by Carl and James, and the second, their own prank backfires on them.

Profanity

  • 1 use of 'f**k', 23 uses of 'shit', 27 uses of 'hell', 8 uses of 'ass' (6 used as 'asshole'), 7 uses of 'damn' in all its forms, 5 uses of 'bitch', 6 uses of 'bastard', 1 use of 'dick', 6 uses of Jesus Christ, Jesus, and Christ collectively, as an exclamation, and 1 use of 'nigger'.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • toxic waste dumping.
  • Recreational drinking and maybe some smoking.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Since this film is primarily a comedy, there are virtually no intense or frightening scenes, as most of the scenes are funny. The murder is probably the most intense scene, and it's not very intense or frightening at all.
  • Louis is a war veteran and suffers from PTSD and gets intense at times but it is clearly played for laughs.
  • There is a murder.
