Sex & Nudity

  • A female character wears slightly skimpy clothing. Otherwise, absolutly no blatant sexual content.

Violence & Gore

  • Several destruction scenes with the monsters destroying Japan.
  • When Godzilla and King Ghidorah fight, Godzilla is nearly choked to death with foam coming out of his mouth. Later, he blows off Ghidorah's middle head.
  • A short war scene between Japanese and American soldiers. Next to no bullet impacts are shown.
  • The "Godzillasaurus" attack scene involves the dinosaur stepping on and killing many American soldiers; also killing them in other brutal ways. The dinosaur is then attacked by a battleship, and bloody wounds cover the creature's skin. It also bleeds.
  • M11's wounds look quite disturbing and gory.
  • When King Ghidorah and Godzilla both attack, it is implied that many people are killed. Only a handful of people are actually seen being killed, and with little to no blood at all.

Profanity

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • A man smokes a cigarette in two scenes.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The aforementioned war scene could be a bit disturbing to some viewers.
  • When M11 chases the car, it is quite intense.
  • Overall, the fight scenes and attack scenes are bound to be frightening for some young viewers, but it really depends on the child.

Spoilers

The Parents Guide items below may give away important plot points.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • Shindo considers Godzilla as his friend throughout the movie as he saved Shindo during WW2, but when Godzilla and him share an emotional moment and Godzilla blasts his atomic breath at him whilst he is in a building, and killing him instantly, it is very emotional and intense.
