- There is another version avalibale on video with a FSK-18 rating. Most of the scenes are uncut, expect the scene where Don Vitorios guys come into Winnies bar for the second time. The shootdown with Richie is a little shorter.
- The Norwegian VHS version had several scenes trimmed down for violence. These scenes are:
- 1. The pimp beating the hooker is trimmed down.
- 2. Richie shooting Bobby one more time after he put the card on his chest.
- 3. Richie shooting a woman, the shot where he drags here out of the car.
- 4. The meat clever in the hand was completely removed.
- 5. The scene when Gino shoots of Bobby Arms leg was also completely removed.
- 6. The whole sequence when Gino stabs a corkscrew in Richie's head was also removed.
- 7. The extra shot of Richie's body with the corkscrew in the head.
- All these scenes was later restored in the Region 2 DVD.
- Old TV versions of the movie had some alternate scenes and dialogue to replace ones that were too violent. Couple of extra scenes were also added in these versions; After killing woman in the car,Richie enters the shop to get a new shirt since his got blood on it. After getting a shirt, alarm goes off and he shoots it. This scene fixes continuity mistake from normal version in which Richie wears different shirt right after his first few scenes. Second additional scene is where Richie and his thugs break in Gino's wife house but she's not there. After some neighbors show up,Richie threatens them and leaves.
- The Australian free to air version was heavily edited for violence and coarse language when screened on Channel 9 in order to meet the standards for an M classification to be screened at 8:30pm. Some small scenes are even edited out all together as they were deemed too violent for television. Later broadcasts have relaxed their classification standards and the movie has been screened at a later time for a MA15+ or AV15+ classification.
- Although passed uncut for UK cinema early video versions were cut by 54 secs by the BBFC with edits to a man being thrown through a car window during the opening scene, a hand being impaled with a cleaver, a cue ball being wrapped in a handkerchief during the pool hall fight, a closeup of a shooting, and wrist snaps and blows with a rolling pin during the final fight between Gino and Richie. When it was shown on Sky's movie channels, these scenes were all present, but other violent footage had been trimmed. The version shown on network TV in the UK (Channel 5) also had some of the missing material, but again, at the expense of other edits. The cuts were fully restored in the 1999 widescreen DVD release.
- Additional footage added for its NBC premiere.
