When Junior, Trixie, and their parents get their picture taken at the pizza parlor, everyone smiles except for Trixie. Later, when Ben takes a look at the picture, Trixie is smiling.
During Junior's attempts to vandalize the portrait of Annie, he instantly recognizes Trixie when she shows up to torment him - but the two have no apparent way of knowing each other yet, unless you count the too brief "balloon pop" scene at the beginning of the movie. This is because of a deleted scene from Junior's first day of school, in which she puts a sign on Junior, leading to his being tormented (this scene is in the USA Network version of the film, but no DVD or home video release.)
In the wedding scene, after Luwanda is run over with the meteorite, her veil goes flying. In the next shot, it appears that the veil has only been knocked off her head.
At the beginning of the scene in which Junior and Ben are at Aron's barbecue, the sun is about to set, but in subsequent shots of that scene, it's broad daylight.
On Junior's first day of school he walks into school empty-handed but from the hallway on he has a bagged lunch.
When Junior sets the Crazy Dance on the highest speed, there is ample evidence that the Crazy Dance's rotational speed has increased while the centrifugal force has decreased. This is a physical impossibility.
When Trixie shoots Junior with the fire house, it shown knocking Junior back. Firstly, the water pressure coming out wouldn't very much. Its the Fire Department that controls the pressure through stand pipes outside of the school. Secondly if the water pressure was that strong enough to knock down Junior, someone the size of Trixie wouldn't be able to hold and control the force pressure that's coming out of the hose.
One of Lawanda's wedding portraits shows her husband wearing a U.S. military officer's uniform. The uniform wear is incorrect because he's wearing a U.S. Navy officer's service dress blues black suit coat with a U.S. Marine Corps field grade officer's dress blues cover.
After Trixie is shown close up driving a bulldozer during the wedding scene, a wide shot shows that an adult is driving instead.
In the scene where the Crazy Dance is suppose to be going fast, it is obvious that the clip is simply sped up. The paces of the people in the background are also sped up.
When everybody on the Crazy Dance vomits, it is obvious that the liquid is not issuing from the people's mouths but from a point behind them. There are actually some black plastic hoses that can be seen on the other side of each character that is vomiting opposite to the camera, through which the liquid is flowing.
When Trixie and Jr. are fighting with the fire hose, Trixie's hair style changes between shots. First it's curly, then crimped and tied and tied back.
Trixie has her hoodie inside out.
The type of gear-driven sprinklers in the Healys' front lawn should make no mechanical sound, but the familiar clattering noise of impact ("rain bird") heads is clearly and loudly heard.
The phone directory Jr uses early in the movie refers to Orlando listings, where the movie was filmed. Later, when the Mercedes pulls into the driveway, it has an out of state personalized tag.
After Junior turns up the speed for the Crazy Dance, it is obvious the ride is going way too fast. The operators could have easily stopped the ride, yet they do nothing and let it keep running for more than a minute before it breaks down.
In an early scene, Aron (Ben and Junior's neighbor) says that much of Mortville's population is divorced, and expresses his excitement that "another Joe" has moved into the neighborhood, as most of the residents living there are single women. This is completely contradicted in a later scene, where a large crowd of all men, who Ben refers to as the "entire neighborhood," have gathered in front of the Healys' house.
