- There is a scene midway through the movie where the antagonists against Chevy Chase's character make an attempt to kill him by bumping into his car, which forces his brakes to go completely out and he crashes in the ocean, completely upsetting Jonathan Taylor Thomas, who sees the Chase character breaking promises like his own father used to do. This scene may upset sensitive viewers.
