  Jody Mitchell : [desperately]  Karen did it! She and mommy were fighting on the balcony and she pushed her!

  [Don turns to Jody] 

  Barbara Mitchell : [in pain]  Karen... Don, Karen was... right about... Jody. Jody pushed me off the balcony.

  [Don goes shocked and disgusted realizing the truth] 

  Jody Mitchell : [sadly]  I did it for you. I'm your princess. You said you loved me.

  [breaks into tears] 

  Jody Mitchell : I need you! I love you, daddy! I love you, daddy!

  Don Mitchell : [takes Jody by the shoulders]  Jody! What have you done? What have you DONE!

  [Don pushes Jody away] 

  Jody Mitchell : [goes hurt]  Everybody's against me!

  [Barbara looks up at Jody] 

  Karen Conners : The ambulance is on its way.

  Don Mitchell : [solemnly]  Thank you.

  Jody Mitchell : [tearfully]  Daddy... I'm your princess! You said you loved me! You said we'd always be together. Everybody leaves me!

  [Jody cries harder as Don and Karen continue tending to Barbara]
