Sex & Nudity

  • The opening scene shows a flashback of a teenaged boy showering, fully nude. His penis is not seen as he is tucking it between his legs. Pubic hair is visible, however.
  • Later, in the same scene, the boy is shown fully nude from the rear. His buttocks are visible.
  • At various points in the movie, there is some frank talk about transsexuality, including reasonably graphic descriptions of the operations involved and the changes that the body undergoes. There is also a scene involving a man lamenting the fact that he is infertile.
  • A man roots through a woman's bathroom cabinet and discovers her vaginal dilator. This scene is played for comedic effect.
  • A man exposes his penis in public during an argument with a woman. It is nighttime, therefore what little is seen is in deep shadow. Also, the view is often blocked by objects using creative camerawork.
  • During a minor argument with his girlfriend, a man plants a sloppy kiss on her cheek. This is played in a light-hearted manner. The girlfriend then kisses him tenderly on his cheek.
  • A man strips off his shirt in a woman's presence. There are no sexual overtones.
  • A woman undresses in front of a man. There is full frontal nudity. Her breasts are clearly obvious, although her pelvic area is in deep shadow. Pubic hair is evident, however.
  • A man and woman undress and engage in sexual intercourse. Afterwards, they lay in bed, partially covered with a sheet. The woman's left breast is exposed.

Violence & Gore

  • A teenaged boy is whipped with a rolled towel, then pushed and shoved by a gang of teenaged boys.
  • A shower is turned fully cold, shocking a boy who is standing under it.
  • A teenaged boy grabs and pushes two boys who are assaulting another boy.
  • Two teenaged boys walk down a hallway, running a gauntlet of other teenaged boys who jeer and use homophobic slurs.
  • A rider is thrown from his motorcycle as he collides with a taxi that cuts across his path.
  • A man bumps another man in a club and spills his drink, causing a confrontation. After trading insults, the first man and a woman are chased by the second man and his friends.
  • A man and woman have a mild argument outside of her flat. Some heated words and profanity are exchanged.
  • A man is manhandled by a police officer while being arrested for indecent exposure. He is thrown roughly into a paddy wagon. A woman grabs the officer's arm in an attempt to persuade him not to arrest the man. She is arrested for obstruction of justice and resisting arrest.
  • While riding in a paddy wagon, a police officer tries to put his hand under a woman's dress, assuming that she is a transvestite. A man intervenes and is kicked and beaten severely by the officer.
  • At the police station, the officers (still under the assumption that the woman is a transvestite) place her in the drunk tank with the intimation that she could be sharing the cell with others "a bit like yourself" (i.e. transvestite prostitutes). She is led to the cell and told, rather menacingly, to hope that no violent drunks are placed with her.
  • A woman is threatened with being placed in a prison with male inmates.
  • A boy plays with a toy gun which makes semi-realistic machine-gun noises.
  • A man enters an office building in a frantic state. He is visibly upset, swings his arms, and uses foul language. After some minor pushing and shoving, he is escorted out of the building by three security guards.
  • Police cordon off an area while searching for a suspicious parcel which they suspect is a bomb.
  • A man falls repeatedly while roller-blading. This is played for comedic effect and he is unhurt.
  • An army sergeant physically and verbally abuses a soldier who is unable to complete an obstacle course. The soldier is repeatedly pushed, thrown to the ground, and yelled at.
  • A man yells at a woman as she is entering her office building. Onlookers appear to be shocked.
  • A man and woman shout at each other during a heated argument.

  • There are seven (7) instances of "fuck" and its variants (such as "bonk" and "screw"), and ten (10) instances of "shit" and its variants (such as "shite" and "bollocks").
  • There are several slang references to body parts: "ass", "tits", "cock", "dick", "hard-on", "prick", "willy", "shlong", and "boner".
  • Instances of "Christ!" and "My God!" used as exclamatory expletives.
  • Some are used repeatedly. They are: "bastard", "bloody", "wanker", "toss-pot", "prat", and "piss".
