Great Show
BSolar-115 June 2005
One of the most underrated shows ever. Kevin Nealon is a genius. I wish this show lasted longer. Although the chemistry between Kevin Nealon and Richard Lewis was forced, it was quite apparent that Kevin Nealon carried the show. Had somebody other than Richard Lewis been opposite of Kevin Nealon this show could have been great. Actually the writing was quite terrible, but Kevin Nealon carried it as long as he could. The show was about two terrible writers. Had the writers not just done an autobiography on themselves, the show could have survived. Oh well, just like ABC to pull the plug on a great show. Full House, Sports Night, Hiller and Diller. Yet they give us such quality as What about Joan?

Lewis good; Nealon is Nealon and that's bad

Name a show that Nealon ever carried? Yeah, that's right, zero. The guy can't even out-act Arnold Palmer. "Make mine a Kevin Nealon." Yeah, sure, they are going to make a drink that is tasteless and flat.

The guy is a poor man's Chevy Chase and that's like saying he's a talentless schmuck who happens to know people in Hollywood.

The show can be summed up by the title: a very small joke that's part of every single show.

One good thing you can say about the show is that it is no longer in production.

The only bad part of this show's immediate bombing is that Lewis is funny and intelligent. Too bad. The guy knows how to deliver a line.
