- TriviaVince Gilligan originally wrote the screenplay for this film in 1989, for a screenwriting class he was taking at New York University.
- GoofsDorian and Angus claim to be AH-1 cobra pilots in the "Air National Guard". The Air National Guard, which is a reserve component of the U.S. Air Force, however, does not have cobra helicopters in their inventory. Only the Army National Guard and the U.S. Marine Corps fly the AH-1 attack helicopter. Dorian and Angus though, are wearing Air Force lieutenant bars (blue colored) on their flight suits, not Army rank (black or gold colored) as an actual cobra pilot in the Guard would have.

An Extremely Funny and Original Movie. A must see.
Telling you the plot would kinda take away some of the suprising charm of this movie. Basically, the Drew Barrymore character is supposed to be killed by the son of the dead man she was sleeping with. But the guy starts to like her. There are several other twists thrown into the story. The screenplay by Vince Gilligan of the X-Files is unpredictable and the dialogue isn't stale like in so many other Hollywood films. Great performances by all.
