Shannen Doherty is suiting up for a Christmas Caper.
The former Charmed star is set to play the lead in the ABC Family telefilm. Doherty will play Kate Dove, a professional thief who retreats to her hometown in Connecticut after a con goes bad and gets stuck baby-sitting her niece and nephew until their parents can make it home for Christmas. She spends most of her time devising ways to even the score with Clive, her partner in crime, until the spirit of the holidays can help put her priorities back on track.
The April Blair-penned telefilm will be directed by David Winkler (Finding Graceland) and executive produced by Paul Colichman, Jeffrey Schenck and Karen Spiegel. The telefilm is in production in Vancouver and is scheduled to air in November. Regent Studios is producing.
Doherty, whose credits also include Beverly Hills, 90210, Breaking Up With Shannen Doherty and the cult classic Heathers, just wrapped production in New Zealand on Here!'s new spy franchise Kiss Me Deadly: A Jacob Keane Assignment, which also stars Robert Gant (Queer as Folk).
Doherty is repped by APA and attorney Adam Kaller.
