it has all the sins and small virtues of the Romanian historical movies under Comunist regime. silly for the new generation of public, nice for the nostalgic, decent adaptation of the novel of Mihail Sadoveanu who, himself, gives a mythical history of Medieval Moldavia. a love story, fight scenes, Gheorghe Cozorici doing a reasonable Ștefan cel Mare - except the speeches after the model of Nicolae Ceaușescu-, not the most inspired dialogues and, in few cases, performances, but, as second part of "Ștefan cel Mare. Vaslui 1475", far to be awful. so, a nice film. for a rainy afternoon or for idyllic perspective about Ștefan cel Mare reign.
