Lust and greed go well together
Woodyanders28 April 2017
Warning: Spoilers
Conniving widow Ruby Sutton (slender Jessie St. James in fine bitchy form) plans to keep her recently deceased millionaire husband Oliver Sutton's considerable fortunate all to herself. However, Ruby's bitter and repressed stepdaughter Catherine (a solid portrayal by the yummy Joanna Storm) demands her own sizable share of Oliver's inheritance.

Director Ken Gibb keeps the enjoyably tawdry story moving along at a snappy pace and further spices up the steamy carnal activities with an amusing sense of raunchy humor. The sex scenes are quite hot and explicit; Ruby's opening number with her chauffeur (handsome David Cannon) rates as the definite arousing highlight, with inspired use of natural sounds that include a ticking clock and birds chirping outside. The sturdy cast of reliable Golden Age adult cinema regulars helps a lot: Paul Thomas as sleazy low-rent private eye Riff Rafferty, Eric Edwards as an amorous chairman, Tigr as a lusty secretary, Janey Robbins as aggressive lesbian Gilda, Jon Martin as the smarmy Braker, Debi Diamond as Rafferty's very hands-on foxy assistant Muffy, and Mike Horner as a hunky pool man. The bright cinematography provides an attractive sunny look. The funky-grinding music hits the get-down groovy spot. Good bawdy fun.
