wise constructed

The first temptation is to see it as a comedy. An easy , colorful comedy. In fact, it is just a very useful satire. About people, relations, Africa versus France, about totem as piece of museum and about politic as winning game. The acting is just lovely. The moral - fair building. And the compassion for french couple , the entrance in Conakry, the inspired portrait of each character are the good gifts. Short, just a seductive, wise constructed image of African realities.

Great Comedy with ba-a-a-a-d political satiric machinegunfire of scenarios

Bus with mixed society of passengers travels across Africa. From a corrupt minister to a general of a rebel group, everything is represented in the bus. Having passed several obstacles along their way, they fall into the hands of the general's rebel group where the corrupt minister tries - what else - to sell the rest of the passengers to the rebels, hoping to escape. MUST have seen the rest of the story, but even the "known" (described) scenes are worth to see them in the movie :) Great French movie gang humour with even greater African gang humor, forms a good basis for a solid Afriollywood ...

(pity: id available at amazon for the double price of a normal DVD only, and almost never shows up in TV or movie theaters)
