example of political command
Kirpianuscus3 June 2016
clichés. and remarkable actors. and the music of Mirabela Dauer. the theme, the image of brave and honest hero in dangerous situation, few drops of humor and the political command as axis of a story who is far to be surprising. short - a film for nostalgic. because , like many movies from the same period, only good thing is the fight of actors to save a not credible script. and that is the only motif to see it. one of films who are , in high measure, proof of the art under dictatorship. because it is only a Communist fairy tale with Prince Charming as manager of a hydro power construction site and few characters who serve a sketch of script who could be defined as improvisation in many scenes.

nostalgic meeting
Vincentiu27 March 2013
warm, touching, slice from a period vision about values and people. but , in a little measure part of propaganda. its virtue - extraordinary cast. and the flavor of an age for many of its viewers. story - not unusual. a site of hydroelectric. its manager. problems, conflicts, courageous solution and happy end. the manager - ingredient of recipes - wise, human, power, brave. and, for good story taste, a small love story. but, certainly, important are actors. Gheorghe Cozorice, Stala Popescu, Ovidiu Iuliu Moldovan, Zephi Alșec, Amza Pellea. and the song of Mirabela Dauer. so, it is not a surprise, Francisc Munteanu was one of remarkable directors of Communist cinema. and his art - mixture between political command and admirable work of cast must be a success for 1984 but, in same measure, with few nuances, in 2013. basis of nuances - delicate nostalgia. and deep joy to discover pieces from another time, different but not very different, by ours.
