excellent soft propaganda movie

Warning: Spoilers
Die Goldene Spinne translated is the golden spider. Kirsten Hieberg is a soviet agent with a male partner sneaks into Germany to spy on an Nazi ammunitions factory to get one of their secrets. She starts to seduce one of the managers played by a Rolf Thiel translated in English as Christmas. Her seduction of to him made him very merry. She pretends first to be a singer , she ends up just singing one number here. She's not the star , unlike in films like Liebes Premiere, so she can find out about the secrets in the factory has a bad effect with his kind of heavy set girl friend who also works on the factory. this is the kind of films Zarah Leander would avoid except for such films like True love, American translation of die Grosse Liebe, American literal translation the great love.Kirsten was a secondary star in Germany. She ends up working in that factory to find out more of the top secrets, As she is working on bullets when one of the women managers goes up to her and ask her to do some other task. Her male partner got in the factory too. You see the lunch room scene in which all workers on all levels seems to get along. How unreal that is.Well next she seduces Joseph Sieber who does the nitty gritty of the factory. To find out more about the munitions. He ends up taking her to a target place where the stuff is tested . She steals some of the bullets on the floor.Eventually both she and her male partner gets in trouble as he taking pictures of the tank as she already gotten caught. Real spies would of been too clever for the Nazis to catch them that quick. The Germans deserved it. I was rooting for the spies. When you get this public domain print from Reichs Kino or war films dot com . Don't forget which side your on and who side these spies were from. In spite of the fact Russia would end up turning bad. This isn't one of Kirsten's vehicles but it proves she wasn't limited too singing and dancing

German spy drama with anti-Soviet tendencies
Lars-658 April 2001
A pair of Soviet Spies use seduction and blackmail to discover the secrets of a new German tank. This is another war propaganda movie, with strong anti-Soviet tendencies. Scandinavian actress Kirsten Heiberg is a pleasure to look at in this otherwise below average movie.
