Pretentious failure
lor_23 July 2020
Michael Zen was porno's big cheese for a while 20 years ago, but this first half of a sci-fi movie project shows how self-indulgence undercut his work.

Filled with hammy performances, all set within the insular world of porn film production, it stars Tiffany Million as a prima donna of an aging porn superstar, and it's obvious (way too obvious) that we're in All About Eve territory when her former agent/lover Mike Horner shows up with his new discovery Kaitlyn Ashley, hired as costumer on the shoot.

Buck Adams is the director and Jon Dough the financial backer for the movie, and we watch various sex scenes being shot, as well as Buck having sex at home with a beauiful sex-doll come to life (well-played by Vixxxen) as well as his beautiful and horny girlfriend.

It's set in January 2000, six years in the future, with nerd Nick East as a deranged fan of Tiff's who has perfected Virtual Reality technology and is acting as a sort of puppetmaster controlling her, Buck and the rest of the cast.

None of it makes any sense, just an excuse for inside jokes about the industry, fancy costuming (courtesy of Raven Touchstone) and utter silliness when Tiff gives a blow-job while filming to an invisible cock and goes crazy, just in time to set up Part 2 where Kaitlyn will supplant her.

Oddest element often suggests an old-fashioned radio play as Nick playing The Phantom gives a sinister laugh and wields a more supernatural than sci-fi control over the action.
