Sex & Nudity

  • During one scene a group of high school boys visit a strip club where there are many topless ladies shown throughout. There are many extensive scenes of female nudity. Lasts a very long time.
  • A couple is interrupted while having sex and the side of the guy's rear is seen.
  • Tweeder refers to women as "panty-droppers".
  • Tweeder is driving a stolen car nude. He gets out of the car with a hat over his genitals; his bare buttocks are seen for an extended period of time. There are three nude girls in the car with him; partial bare breasts are shown.
  • Darcy (Ali Larter) walks up to Mox (James Van Der Beek) fully nude wearing a whipped cream bikini in an attempt to seduce him. Her breasts and pubic area are covered with whipped cream and cherries represent her nipples. Her side-butt is visible.

Violence & Gore

  • During several football games, we see players get hit, tackled and flipped, and in result two players end up with crutches, and another has a head injury, and ends up fainting in class.
  • Tweeder hits a man in the groin with a baseball bat, this scene was played for laughs
  • Moxon hits his father in the face with a football, and gets a bloodied nose, where blood is partially visible. Later, he is seen with black eyes and a bandaged nose.
  • Moxon also purposely throws a football at a team mascot and a man riding a horse, he falls off the horse, but is not severely injured.
  • Billy Bob shoots some football trophies with a rifle, and Moxon shoots a poster of a man's face.
  • Tweeder steals a police cruiser and drives recklessly through town.
  • Billy Bob pukes in a washing machine.
  • We also see a bloody towel, during one of the football games. But it is only shown for a couple of seconds.
  • The coach tries to choke Moxon for talking back to him.

Profanity

  • F word used 45 times, to give an example of the adult language.
  • They use other profanities through the movie, but the f-word is used the most.

Alcohol, Drugs & Smoking

  • Two teens are given what appears to be steroid injections which is shown twice in the film.
  • Teenagers drink through the whole movie,
  • Adults smoke breifly.

Frightening & Intense Scenes

  • The football games can be intense. Some emotionally intense scenes.
  • Harbor's injury can be quite intense for some.
  • Despite being a comedy, there are some intense scenes throughout the film, that will leave the viewers in an uncomfortable place. Also, some might feel uncomfortable with coach Kilmer.
  • We see Billy Bob collapse in class (after having done the same on the football field -- all the result of an acute brain injury).
