What was it all about?
ALittaM8 December 1999
Common man meets prostitute, makes her pretend she's his girlfriend then falls for her? Have I heard that plotline a lot before! This movie brings nothing new to this kind of story. Nuti acts really badly and the only scenes where you can bear his presence are the ones when he demonstrates his skills in playing pool. Please don't watch this movie.

I really enjoyed this movie
maxwellsham19 December 2000
I am surprised more People did not enjoy this movie. I really did. I laughed my guts out most of the way through because it was funny. In trying to explain why everyone else hated it and I loved it I would have to admit it did not have a huge storyline or very good characters or extremely witty comments etc. but It defiantly had good direction, most of this movie is really great to look at. It also had funny moments and funny lines and very funny situations which in only a few cases could have been pulled of better but they still keep it going and certainly don't detract. I found it easy to follow (with subtitles) very interesting and funny. Look out for the amazing pool shots. I've never seen anything like it and it was not staged. The women are beautiful and lots of fun to look at even though they don't get their gear off every five minutes. I think its one of my favourite movies and people who don't enjoy it are not keeping in mind that it is just a comedy and it was funny so I think it was successfull. Oh also the music is fantastic. It makes you really feel something and is so bright and lively I love that theme, going round in my head for days.

Watch this movie you'll have fun.

After the biggest Italian flop, nothing is changed for Nuti
mauro-213 October 1998
After the movie "Occhio Pinocchio", which will be remebered in the movie history as the most expensive Italian film and for its low incomes as the biggest Italian flop, Francesco Nuti comes back with this movie. This is his third movie where Nuti talks of pool, and the plot has always the same structure: the shy man meets the woman of his life. Feelings like jealousy, are badly expressed, and the feeling to remember when the end comes is only one: boring.
