If only Brigitte had a good agent

Porn stars, today and certainly back in the Golden Age, have a work ethic of taking almost any role that comes along -shooting for a magical 1000 or 2000 credits instead of crafting a career of quality. But some never get a shot at the brass ring.

Case in point: the beautiful buck-toothed starlet Brigitte Maier. She appeared in dozens of consistently awful or at best sub-mediocre West Coast productions plus a handful of Europorn productions. Unlike an equally beautiful and talented contemporary, say Annette Haven, she never earned a decent role from a good director (yes fans, I don't believe in the cult of Lasse Braun).

INSIDE OF ME, its title more than a hint as to the contents, is gutter-level porn aimed at the masturbation only segment of the audience. Picture opens with an underage girl getting humped in a closet, followed by a curly-wigged girl in bed giving a blow job.

This loops approach gives way to a storyline, basically a dirty joke or burlesque routine for the screen as an unscrupulous doctor (the cheap set for his office doesn't try for believability at all) who trades drug prescriptions for femme patients who want to get high in exchange for sexual favors of the gynecological variety. He also narrates this trash, competing on the soundtrack with crappy music like "Tennessee Waltz", "More" from MONDO CANE or imitation Dave Brubeck.

Cindy is an ultra-busty Black girl (unidentified actress) who delivers anal sex in extreme closeup, vying for screen time with Brigitte Maier, as the doc's peeping Tomasina of a nurse. There's lesbian sex, masturbation with a large vibrator, and more anal sex featuring the lovely Maggie Williams.

Typical of the era, film tries for a gag ending with everybody supposedly getting the clap, and a final shot of the facade of the L.A. Free Clinic (which also opened the film). Insulting the audience was just as popular then as now.

It has been suggested that Richard Mailer directed this one, with 1973 more likely as its year of production/release than 1975. Keep watching IMDb for potential corrections.
