I think I saw this film as a child. Must've been good to stick in my head.. Maybe you could say it's because I was a child and it scared me, but I saw Halloween when I was and that didn't scare me lol. Neither did Childsplay.. Anyway, It's the only one here that looks likely, but all I remember of the name was something like "Haunted" "The Haunting", in that ilk. Not much info here though :/ I can't find it either and no one I know knows of it... Other comment person or anyone, is it about a family, kind of like the others, but maybe with just two kids and an occasional mother figure, maybe a nanny? Something about a lake or pond nearby as well? Maybe they find out they're actually dead at the end or something but it ends really open and kind of weirdly?! Sorry it's not really a proper comment... Any info is much appreciated though :)

I think the movie you are talking about is a much more recent movie called "The Others", with Nicole Kidman playing a woman with two children; she does indeed hire a nanny along with two other staff for the large house she lives in, waiting for her husband's return. The end is weird because Nicole's character realizes she and her children are ghosts themselves. You should be able to find "The Others" fairly easily on Amazon or any site that sells movies. Hope that helps you.
'The Haunted' was a good movie, especially being made for TV as it was. It is too bad indeed that we can't find it anywhere. I will probably try Ebay myself, and hope I find it at a somewhat reasonable price. Good Luck finding it, folks!

I saw this film 3 years ago and i have tried to buy it everywhere but noboday has heard of it. It is based on a true story in America about a family of 7 who move into a new house that is haunted by more than one ghost. The family is tormented and after a series of scary moments turns to the church for an exorcisim which doesnt work. In the end they move house only to find that the ghost has followed them to their new location.
Does anyone have this film or know where you can purchase it from?

Is this the movie about the crow in the window, and the lady who lives in the house was pregnant and goes to birth but baby dies? I'm trying to find that movie and I thought it was called The Haunted. Anyone? I give it an awesome 10 stars if it is the same movie I am thinking of. I know it was a true story. I also remember something was wrong with the land, maybe it was just the house. Maybe there was gravestones from an Indian burial ground underneath. Does that ring a bell? I just keep remembering the black crow, every time it became present, something bad would happen. I am going to try YouTube and see if I can find a clip on there.

I`ve seen this movie and it`s really scary and interesting but I can`t seem to get it anywhere I try to buy it everywhere I go and cannot get a copy of it please help me anyone thanx!But this movie is based on a true story which really freaked me and my family out a lot about some of the crazy stuff they went through

This movie can be found on Youtube and the person who posted it has a link for buying it. I also highly recommend Possessd, Featuring Timothy Dalton. It is about a true case of exorcism that happened in about the fifties or sixties. The story that the movie is about was also featured on the History Channel. Also very scary. Documented case where symbols or writing of some sort appeared on the boys chest, as though carved there. That story still scares the hell out of me as it is made about a true story. If you liked The Haunted I highly suggest Possessed as well as the TV documentary on The Haunting In Conecticut. The theatrical release of The Haunting In Conecticut is great but for the true story it is based off of you have to see the documentary version, it is frequently shown on Discory Channel.

I've also seen this film numerous times, i also am looking for a copy to buy, but it's like gold dust because it's now been deleted so finding a copy is going to be hard, i've seen copys go on ebay for over £40!
This movie is one of the best I've seen for a while, based on a true story, makes you wonder how the poor family coped with it all!
So if you haven't already seen it then you should make a point of doing so, thats if you can find a copy this movie is like gold dust, but then you would see why if you have ever seen it.
I'm not going to spoil it and tell you what happens, but what i will say is..... you can't run you can't hide no matter where they go they find them, this movie is not for the faint hearted, and phew what an ending WHOA!
