Writer Martin Brimmer (aka Rodger Jacobs) takes a jaundiced view of Hollywood's script development process in this sequel, retaining only Jon Dough from the original.
We see him in a development conference, with department head Peter North in charge as writer Kelly Nichols (a fun character role for the superstar turned makeup lady) Breaking cinema's fourth wall by frequently addressing the audience directly, Dough criticizes the lack of originality in Hollywood, specifically as every story idea (including Nichols' ones) are rehashes.
This gives Brimmer a chance, through Dough's character, to make innumerable references to movies ranging from hits ("An Affair to Remember") to obscure titles ("The Next Voice You Hear"). When Dough interjects a dumb sci-fi plotline, it's attributed to John Carpenter's "Starman".
The hipness here and self-absorption (though reference is to maintream Hollywood studio practice, rather than the Adult industry) get to be a bit much, but the relentless, snarky cynicism is impressive. Dough's easy smugness is good casting, and the femme cast led by Bionca and Debi Diamond is fine, with busty Tara Monroe and a pre-boob-enlargement Kaitlyn Ashley thrown in for a 3-way with North.
