Incompetent porn, off the deep end
Jesse Eastern earns a Razzie for overacting, porn division, in this negligible, poorly made feature that wears its klutziness on its sleeve.
Wearing shades, he's a Las Vegas entertainer, a mentalist who doesn't give David Copperfield much competition judging by what we see of his non-act. He argues with fellow airplane passenger Cal Jammer -the usual incompatible folks stuck in seats next to each other, and in fit of braggadocio, removes his glasses to stare into the eyes of petite stewardess Cameo, instantly seducing her as his gaze makes her hot and bothered. Cal joins in for a quickie threesome and is impressed.
Scenes only tangentially fit together in this movie, clearly slapped together (it has extensive end credits listing dozens of phony names, not ready for preservation in IMDb). Next segment brings us a familiar star, Jennifer Stewart of Vivid fame, improvising a pointless sex scene with her man, Jeff James. Jesse is there, to melodramatically hypnotized Jennifer and plant post-hypnotic suggestions to make her horny for Jeff.
Next setup has Jennifer seducing a superstar Raquel Darrian, and informing her about Jesse anecdotally, a weak link to the previous scenes. I'm amused when the porn director shouting out to the players what do to (posiions usually) on the soundtrack, but here we have the director's voice as a whisper instead, as if no one will notice.
James tells Derrick Lane about the hypnotist and gives him a card with Jesse's phone number, and Lane acts upon the tip. He's with his real-life squeeze Raquel Darrian in a scene that begins cryptically but ends up corny, as he's arranged for Jesse to visit in order to hypnotize Raquel to spice up their marriage like an aphrodisiac. Just in the nick of time (as Jesse arrives and is removing his shades) she remembers the anecdote about the tall dark stranger and whips out her makeup mirror to prevent seeing Jesse's gaze and seemingly reflect it back on him. All in support of giving Jesse the opprotunity to overact in a Silent Film reaction shot way. Holy Conrad Veidt (or Max Schreck), Batman!
Finale is utterly irrelevant, as sexy redhead strips for Jesse and he enjoys humping her. Hey, it's Vegas (presumably), baby!
