Jonathan Morgan was at the top of his game in a series of Jace Rocker/Jim Enright hits for fledgling Wicked Pictures, including this funny opus as well as "Haunted Nights" and later "Western Nights".
He's teamed with Steven St. Croix as bumbling private eyes, and the case includes plenty of hot sex scenes, especially with Porsche Lynn and busty Lacy Rose. Rocker's script is filled with funny lines and in-jokes, all delivered with admirable skill by Morgan.
In fact, beyond the slapstick (much of it performed by young St. Croix), Morgan manages to channel and steal from the greats, in particular Abbott & Costello, Bo Hope, Laurel & Hardy, and even Groucho Marx and Moe Howard of the Three Stooges. His eclectic use of this myriad of sources helps the content rise above mere carbon copy imitation of a single act.
