One of the couple Missy & Mickey G.'s highly personal projects, "Heart & Soul" plows familiar ground in the ethereal romantic porn movement around the turn of this century, which, alas, has faded by the wayside. It is pleasantly erotic but lacks the timeless beauty of the many Adam & Eve releases of this era, particularly those utilizing Saint musical scores.
The five vignettes, bearing titles like "Love", "Life" and "Fantasy", are certainly the stuff that Couples viewing is made of, but something is lacking. Perhaps the neophyte directors, aided and abetted by Brad Armstrong who also heads up the male cast, have less of a feel for the genre than the A & E roster of Nick Orleans, Nick Steele and Cameron Grant.
