the white horse

As teenager, I was impressed by the novella . A game of apparences, seduction of money and prosperity, with a not so reasonable price, a poor paisant and his encounter with old Califar and the fall , after a fist of water , in most realistic dream. With terrible consequences.

I saw it, at that time, as beautiful illustration of man , front devil, in temptation of wealth proposed by the last to our savior.

Serban Marinescu changes few details of text . But the world imagined by Gala Galation is the same. Or , more exactly, complementary.

You admire the inspired portrait of Stoicea proposed by Remus Marginean, like the beautiful performance as Tecla offered by Elena Albu.

But, maybe, near music or the white horse, the key remains the admirable job of Vasile Nitulescu.

A profound beautiful adaptation . And a wise final, different by novella, but reflecting the force of temptation, alive again and again.
