This lost silent drama was produced by Kay-Bee New York Motion Pictures and released through Triangle Distributing in 1916. Directed by Raymond B. West and featuring popular silent film actress Dorothy Dalton, it remains another sad loss for fans and historians of silent films. I was able to find a brief synopsis for the reader to have at least an idea of the main storyline.
Artistic bohemian Gloria Marley, ( Dorothy Dalton ) has been involved in a lengthy relationship with wealthy Carleton Condon ( Howard c. Hickman ). Carleton decides to settle down and marry the more ordinary and modest, Marcia Dorn ( Enid Markey ). Both Gloria and Carleton happen to be travelling on the same train that crashes, leaving Carleton with severe memory loss. Gloria takes full advantage of the situation and tells Carelton that she is his wife, and sends word to Marcia that her husband died in the train wreck. Gloria and the unknowing Carelton are living quite happily together until Marcia discovers that her husband is indeed alive. The dedicated Marcia slowly succeeds in winning back Carleton's love and with successful surgery, his memory is finally restored..
