- Rajesh Sharma, working with the Indian Government on a top secret research project, has to deal with enemy agents, explosions, murder and last but not least a dangerous look-alike.
- Police officer Rajesh is an expert in explosives and chemicals. He lives with his dog and his cook, and has a love interest in Rita. The department in which Rajesh works discovers that people are interested in stealing information about explosives from them, and start to guard against such an attack, but Rajesh is kidnapped and taken abroad. The kidnappers keep Rajesh imprisoned and send a look-alike, Jackoss, back to India to deceive the department. Jackoss is a non-Indian with blue eyes and a voice different from Rajesh's. To deceive Rajesh's department, he uses contact lenses and tells them that he lost his voice in the kidnapping. Rita believes him and accepts him as Rajesh, although she has some misgivings. Rajesh's dog and cook realise what has happened, so Jackoss kills them so they can't expose him. The authorities are also less trusting and do not allow Jackoss to enter the high-security zone until some other criminals help Jackoss to convince the authorities of his identity. Meanwhile Rajesh escapes and makes his way back to India. Jackoss had plans to blow up a laboratory, but Rajesh reaches it on time and foils his plan. - Rajesh loves Rita and asks for her hand in marriage from her mother, and is accepted. Then, intrigue surrounds his life when he discovers the lifeless body of his doctor, on informing the police, they discover that the corpse has vanished. To assist the police uncover this conspiracy, Rajesh goes undercover, only to be caught by the people responsible and a lookalike takes his place. Excellent acting scores, and memorable songs: "Yakin karlo mujhe muhobat hai tumse tumse, meri yeh duniya hasin rangat hai tumse, tumse...."; "Baharon ki baarat aa gai, khushi ko leke saath aa gai, suno to mere dil, suno to meri jaan, hoton pe dil ki baat aa gai..."; "Gar tum bula na dhoghe, sapne yeh sach hi honge, hum tum juda na honge..."; "Bach ke kahan jaoge, bachke kahan jaoge..."—rAjOo (gunwanti@hotmail.com)
