As I review director Bud Lee's impressive career, I've come across a real clunker: this Vivid Video release starring Hyapatia Lee that resembles a one-day wonder of old. She only has a sex scene in flashback and Vivid even made Euro star Deborah Wells the cover girl.
Slim excuse for a plot hook has Randy West cast as a porn director and Marc Wallice as a porn reviewer, who meet by chance in a strip club, and spend the movie reminiscing about dancers they've known and f*cked. In four flashbacks we see Randy or Marc humping Nina Hartley, Hyapatia Lee, French star Julia Channel and Brittany O'Connell, with Brit coming off best, as she's also there in the club being very sexy as she dances up close for Randy to ogle. The club itself looks like an ordinary living room with a bar counter where Deborah Wells serves as bartender.
Movie climaxes with Wells' husband Terry Thomas treating the two guys to a live sex show, as he humps his wife on a couch. West leaves his card in case Wells decides to become a porn performer for one of his movies.
In-joke has Randy styled after Buttman -John Stagliano, and enthusing to Marc how he's in search of the perfect female ass. That perhaps explains the otherwise phony and cryptic "Full Moon Bay" title, as to a full-moon shaped posterior?
