- It's carnival time, crowds gather for horse races and the games and food of a midway. Bobby the singing jockey will be riding the favorite Stardust, and if they win, the prize money will enable Bobby to ask Maggie, a carnival florist, to marry him. - There are many events going on at the carnival. A wide variety of horse types and breeds, in addition to other animals such as goats, cattle and pigs, are paraded around the race track. Stardust is one of the odds on favorites to cross the finish line first in the upcoming horse race. Bobby is Stardust's jockey, known as the singing jockey. There is a lot riding on the race outcome for him as winning would allow him to marry his girlfriend Peggy, who runs the florist stand. Tony, the boisterous Italian who sells balloons in the midway, will be betting on Stardust to win as he likes Stardust, Bobby and Peggy. But Tony's ultimate bet on the race may affect his livelihood. What they all don't know is that someone is trying to fix the race by drugging Stardust, which could place Bobby, Peggy and Tony's dreams in jeopardy.—Huggo
