In the original series, Wojeck (1966), Steve Wojeck has two children: Stevey and Judy who are around 9 and 10. In this TV movie, which is ostensibly a sequel, their names have been changed to Nicky and Anna, and their ages are adjusted such that they would have been infants in 1966.
This TV movie had a troubled production history. It went before the cameras in 1990 with a script by Ian Sutherland and David Duke directing, but problems with the script and with the weather (the script required snow and it was shot during a mild winter) led to the production being scrapped. Various attempts were made to create a workable script and resuscitate the project that failed because the CBC - who had reportedly spent several hundred thousands of dollars on the production already - wanted to be able to use the footage already shot. Ultimately, a solution was found with a new script by Malcolm MacRury and the production, now directed by George Bloomfield was able to be completed a year later.
When the production began, scheduling did not permit Ted Follows to reprise his role as Arnold Bateman. However, after production was halted for a year, Follows was able to appear and several scenes featuring him were added.
According to Wikipedia it was Jennifer Dale who appears as Wojek's daughter. This is false as it indeed was Christianne Hirt.
