"Honeymoon of Terror" has to be seen to be believed.It features a married couple of Frank and Marion.Young newlyweds visit Las Vegas and supposedly abandoned Thunder Island.But the isle is dangerous.Suddenly they must fight with serial rapist/killer who is living there.A clubfooted maniac who raped and killed women some years ago is on the loose.Low-budget trash from early 60's with some of the oddest dialogue I have ever heard.It plays like horror/nudie-cutie without nudity.The performances are amateurish and there is a lot of running around,stalking and swimming.An enjoyable little terror flick.6 islets out of 10.Beware of 'Ridge Runner'!!!

This is the swingingest thing I personally have ever seen. Dig that crazy beat, and those wild trumpets! Also, a gum-chewing female hillbilly-themed stripper fanning her privates with a scarf as part of an exciting Vegas revue.
The title card for Honeymoon of Terror is "Ecstasy on Lover's Island," which I think is a much better name. This is outsider cinema at its finest. The cinematography is crystal, and it's full of the kind off-kilter elements that really keep the viewer's attention. It's a good bit smutty. I imagine this was considered adult entertainment in 1961. It's surprisingly erotic in parts! Very interesting watch.
