Boring and mean-spirited
lor_19 October 2022
Filmmakers in a bad mood made this mediocre feature, not as interesting as your average soap opera, and populated by unsavory characters. There's nobody to root for.

Raven looks good as a tough grifter, working on some big deal to fleece her investors. She's enlisted Erica Boyer (styled as a blonde) in her scheme, and they're lesbian lovers as well. Boyer has a boyfriend she's lived with for years, but the movie's opening makes abundantly clear their relationship is on the rocks.

Raven is portrayed as a real meanie: belittling her secretary Teri Diver while forcing her to have sex with investors to keep them happy, and using a petite girl (definitely in the cast as jail-bait) Chrissy Ann in the same way.

Without spoiling the movie's single plot twist, ultimately every character in this tale by producer Rob King and director Jean-Pierre Ferrand is detestable, and the ending leaves a sour taste. Sex scenes are listless, especially with Chrissy Ann giving a bored, wooden sexual performance.
