A rogue vote for Kenzie Petty happened at the latest Survivor 46 Tribal Council.
The castaways had a difficult choice with only seven people left in the game, leading to some drama.
For much of Survivor 46, Episode 11, Q Burdette was the target for elimination. Again, he became a smokescreen for what people were doing.
Maria Gonzalez also had people speaking her name after she won a pizza feast at the Immunity Challenge and took Q with her.
But Maria was safe with her Immunity Necklace, and Venus Vafa made people suspicious of her behavior. She got voted out, but it wasn’t unanimous.
Venus later revealed what she felt ended her game, and it wasn’t going home with an Immunity Idol in her pocket.
But who voted for Kenzie Petty at Tribal Council?
Venus received five votes, Venus voted for Q, and someone secretly voted for Kenzie.

Spoiler Alert: The story includes details about the season finale of CBS’ Survivor.
Five contestants, Austin, Dee, Jake, Julie and Katurah, went into the finale of Survivor‘s Season 45. Three hours later, Dee emerged as the sole survivor.
It wasn’t a smooth ride for the Florida native who was on her way out as the first eliminated contestant in the finale but a last minute vote switch by Katurah got Julie booted off instead, with Dee and Austin getting a clear path to the final tribal council.
Katurah payed for her hesitation by getting voted off next. Meanwhile, Dee followed through on her planned strategic moves, culminating in her reveal to Austin and the final tribal council jury that she told Julie about the plan to vote her out. The bombshell and it perfect timing sealed the victory for Dee with 5-3 votes, earning her the title of Sole Survivor and the $1M prize.

The Survivor Season 45 finale is here, and fans are excited to see who takes home the $1 million prize and the title of Sole Survivor. Dee Valladares, Austin Li Coon, Julie Alley, Jake O’Kane, and Katurah Topps made it to the finale as the final five. And Dee and Austin are continuing to explore their love connection. So, are the two contestants dating after the show? Here’s what we know.
Are Dee Valladares and Austin Li Coon still dating after ‘Survivor’ 45?
Survivor Season 45 features a showmance between Dee Valladares and Austin Li Coon. Dee and Austin established a close connection post-merge, and they’ve worked together on nearly every vote leading up to the finale. Dee and Austin don’t try to hide their connection, which is a potentially dangerous move in the game. Additionally, Austin made it clear he’d never betray Dee because of their close alliance (and feelings). However,...

Today is Veteran’s Day, and to mark the occasion we’re doing to dip into the true story that inspired one of the greatest war movies ever made. Steven Spielberg’s Saving Private Ryan is commonly referred to as one of the most effective war movies ever made. Released in July 1998, Private Ryan was quickly lauded for its brutal depiction of life in combat, with most people singling out its stunning, harrowing recreation of the invasion of Omaha Beach on June 6th, 1944. The film went on gross a surprising $481 million worldwide and won five Oscars, including Best Director for Spielberg, who dedicated the movie to his father, a World War II vet. While the film of course took many a page from the history books to tell its gripping tale, the overall story – about a platoon of soldiers dispatched to recover a young private after three of his brothers...

There was a double elimination on last night’s episode of Survivor!
The number of players is slowly whittling down and it’s only a matter of time before the merge happens, where only everyone comes together on 1 tribe.
In the end, only one will remain to claim the title of Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize.
This week, the tribe was separated into 2, where each player played for individual immunity as well as reward. Of the players competing, two were safe from elimination, and one group won the reward challenge. Both groups had to send one player home.

Outwit, outplay, outlast. The basic formula for competing on “Survivor” hasn’t changed since the reality series made its debut on May 31, 2000. Contestants continue to be divided into tribes and forced to form a new society as they adapt to their physical and social surroundings. Players still have to compete in challenges, build their social game and face the elements and hear host Jeff Probst yell his signature phrases like “You gotta dig deep!” and “Wanna know what you’re playing for?” — and they still have to look into his eyes while he utters the dreaded phrase “The tribe has spoken.”
While the essential gameplay of “Survivor” hasn’t changed throughout 44 seasons played over 23 years, the game certainly has evolved. A myriad of new twists and advantages, the 39-day format shortened to 26 days, and the evolution of the contestants themselves have led to the long-running series having...

The season began with 18 new castaways, and now, we’re down to 16 players with Lulu down 2 tribe members.
This season of Survivor is “taking a deeper dive into the players’ stories as they’re stranded on the stunning islands of Fiji. Viewers will watch as castaways form a society and adapt to their physical and social surroundings while contending with treacherous new elements and navigating an ever-shifting social game. This determined group will be divided into three tribes of six and face a faster, grittier season from the moment they step on the beach. ‘Survivor 45’ sneak peek video: Sabiyah gaslights Emily about her non-vote at tribal council [Watch]
During last week’s second episode of “Survivor 45,” the Lulu tribe lost immunity once again and had to visit Jeff Probst at tribal council. As it turns out, two of the five tribe members couldn’t vote, which meant only three people cast votes. Jeff ended up reading two of those votes aloud before declaring, “That’s enough,” and now Emily is questioning the math of it all. Watch the “Survivor 45” sneak peek video above.
“Tribal council went relatively well,” Emily tells the camera. “But I was really confused because Jeff read my vote — I had voted for Brandon — a second vote, and then said ‘Brandon, you’re voted out.’ And, according to my math, knowing that Brandon did not have a vote, there should have been four total votes. So that made me think that maybe there weren’t four votes, maybe there were only three votes.”

All year is “Survivor” season. The CBS reality competition series, which debuted in 2000, has been hosted by Jeff Probst from the start. Each season follows a group of strangers in an isolated location — the show has been based in Fiji since Season 33 in 2016 — as they provide shelter and food for themselves. Competing in both physical and mental challenges, contestants are voted out until one remains as the “Sole Survivor” and the winner of the $1 million cash prize.
The cash reward was upped to $2 million for “Winners at War,” the 40th season of the show that featured, for the first time ever, a cast of all former winners. Season 28 winner Tony Vlachos took home the prize, becoming the second to win two seasons, alongside Sandra Diaz-Twine, who won Season 7 and Season 20.

A new documentary hopes to showcase the economic disparity women entrepreneurs face, and “Cagney & Lacey” star Sharon Gless is spearheading it as an executive producer.
“Show Her the Money” is a feature-length documentary film that focuses on the funding gap for
women entrepreneurs. Filmed throughout the United States, India and Canada, the documentary will discuss the ways women are often hampered in the business world. According to a Harvard Business Review study, less than 2% of women receive funds for venture start-ups.
Gless will also be featured in the documentary, alongside being an EP.

There are no cheap thrills for Sia — at least when it comes to being a “Survivor” superfan. After Wednesday’s “Survivor” season 44 finale, the celebrated songstress showed just how generous she really is by dolling out some cash to a few of her favourite contestants that came up just short of the show’s grand prize.
On Thursday, Sia surprised Carolyn Wiger, Carson Garrett and Lauren Harpe with some nifty consolation prizes after they all made it to the season 44 finale, but wound up going home empty handed.
Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho was crowned the “Sole Survivor” — and earned $1 million for his efforts – and Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt came in second place, and thus took home the $100,000 runner-up prize.
However, Wiger, Garrett and Harpe came in third, fourth and fifth respectively, meaning they essentially walked away empty handed. To take that sting away a bit, Sia swopped in with some whopping cash prizes of her own.

“Survivor” is a game that ends with one person claiming the life-changing $1 million prize, but sometimes the winner is not the one people expect. The title of Sole Survivor is the result of taking out the biggest competitors, being likable in the cast, and appealing to the jury, all while arguing the case of why you’re the most deserving of the win. While many of the champions are well-deserved, at least according to the passionate fans at home, others spark massive debate when Jeff Probst reads their names out loud. It’s the final stretch of “Survivor 44.” With only five contestants remaining, there is a lot of room left for maneuvering alliances, immunity wins and blindsides to getting to the final tribal council and pleading your case for winning the million dollar prize. As it stands, the three Tika members are looking pretty strong for the end and with all of them still intact, it is a certainty that at least one of them will make the Final 3, possibly all three. But there is also a good chance that one or both of the two women from the other tribes will join them. So who will win the season on Wednesday, May 24? Following this week’s elimination of Danny Massa, the final six contestants of “Survivor 44” have been named, and four of them are women: Carolyn Wiger, Heidi Lagares-Greenblatt, Jaime Lynn Ruiz and Lauren Harpe. The other two remaining players are Yamil “Yam Yam” Arocho and Carson Garrett, aka Carolyn’s fellow “three amigos” from the original Tika tribe. So will a woman win “Survivor 44”?
Since the new era of CBS’s reality TV show began with the Covid-delayed 41st season, two of the three winners have been female (Erika Casupanan in “Survivor 41” and Maryanne Oketch in “Survivor 42”), bucking the usual trend of men receiving the $1 million check. Following this week’s elimination of Frannie Marin from “Survivor 44,” only seven castaways remain in the game to be named Sole Survivor. That means 11 other players have already fallen by the wayside, either voted out of the game or evacuated for medical reasons. Setting aside Bruce Perreault, who Jeff Probst has already invited to play again, we want to know which of the other 10 eliminated players You think is deserving of a second chance in an All-Stars season? Vote in our “Survivor 44” poll below.
Very few players voted out in the first few days of the game have ever been invited back, but Maddy Pomilla, Helen Li and Claire Rafson are as good of picks as any would be. Each jumped into the game head first with bold strategic moves that ultimately put a target on their backs. In the latest episode of Jeff Probst‘s “On Fire with Jeff Probst” podcast, the long-time “Survivor” host confesses that the CBS reality TV show is purposefully designed to be “seen through the eyes of kids.” The conversation came at the end of the podcast when a fan accused him of making the show only for himself.
“I don’t think he’s wrong in that yes, on some level, I am making ‘Survivor’ for me,” Probst readily admitted, as reported by Dalton Ross (EW). He then added, “But I will say that my version of the show, for me, is seen through the eyes of kids. So that is my point of view.”

Probst later added, “Everybody knows that works with me, I say, ‘Imagine a 7-year-old at home imagining they’re the one making fire, they’re the one who found an idol.

Survivor has aired 44 seasons and has been on the air for almost 23 years. Throughout the CBS reality competition series’ run, there have been plenty of epic highs and a handful of disastrous lows as producers introduce new elements to the game. Some have completely changed the series for the better, while other Survivor twists long to be forgotten by the show’s fans.

We’re starting our ranking of the five worst Survivor twists by taking you back to the show’s twenty-first season, Nicaragua. The longtime Survivor host and Emmy Award-winner, Jeff Probst, recently launched his own podcast. Although it’s still in the beginning stages, he’s already revealed interesting information. For example, he watches real police interrogation videos on YouTube between Survivor seasons to help prepare to host the season ahead.
One of the most interesting parts of the show, by far, is the long list of unique challenges contestants must complete while stranded on the island in hopes of walking away as the Sole Survivor. The challenges test physical and mental strength as well as allow cast members to bond (or form rivalries).
Obviously, the fans wonder how the challenges are created and how they’re put to the test before they’re inflicted on the castaways. On the fourth official episode of On Fire With Jeff Probst, he described the process in detail.

Survivor is not an easy game. Producers dump castaways on a deserted beach with minimal resources and force them to compete in brutal physical challenges. They are starving, suffering from bug bites and other ailments, and are subject to harsh weather conditions. So it doesn’t come as a surprise that numerous players have quit over the show’s 44 seasons. But do the Survivor contestants still get paid if they forfeit their spot in the game?

Every Survivor fan knows that the Sole Survivor gets paid $1 million (before taxes) for winning their season. But what the CBS reality competition series doesn’t disclose on air is that producers pay the other contestants just for being on the show.
CinemaBlend reports that the first boot receives $3,500, and the total rises as the placement increases.

There’s no denying that Survivor is a show with serious staying power. This cult classic premiered in May 2000 and is now in its 44th season.
Survivor follows 18 castaways who are dropped on the beautiful islands of Fiji with very few luxury items (and zero toiletries), who form a new society, compete in mental and physical challenges, and try to survive the harsh conditions in order to be crowned Sole Survivor and win the $1 million prize. The castaways often come from diverse backgrounds and are very competitive, which makes for some interesting reality TV.
Needless to say, the show’s host, Emmy Award-winner Jeff Probst, has to do some preparation of his own in order to lead the castaways to victory. Recently, on his podcast, he revealed the rather unique way he prepares to host each season.

The “reality” portion of reality television has been debated over the years. Some shows are painstakingly obviously fake, while others feel like they are as objective as any Hollywood production can be. And Survivor is a show that leans more toward the latter. Most elements of the CBS reality competition series feel real (even though some fans argue otherwise), but there is one rehearsed aspect of Survivor.
The ‘Survivor 44’ cast | Photo: Robert Voets/CBS ‘Survivor’ has been one of CBS’s top-performing shows for 23 years
Survivor premiered on May 31, 2000, on CBS, and the show was an immediate hit. But the strategic gameplay, contestants like Kelly Wigglesworth, Rudy Boesch, Sue Hawk, and Richard Hatch, and the series’ concept had everyone talking.

The Survivor Season 44 premiere showed a lot of promise for the fourth installment of the reality competition series’ “new era,” but since then, fans have pointed out flaws in the show’s format. There are too many advantages and idols (and fake idols) at play in the game, and only women have been voted out. But hopefully, things will turn around soon, and by the time the finale arrives, we’ll be talking about how great Survivor Season 44 was.

Survivor has crowned 41 castaways as the Sole Survivor (with Sandra Diaz-Twine and Tony Vlachos as the show’s only two-time winners) since 2000. While sometimes the jury gets it right and awards the most deserving person with the $1 million, other times fans don’t agree with the winner. And now and then (certainly in Nick Wilson’s case), personal ideologies and opinions influence Survivor fans’ thoughts on a Sole Survivor.

CBS has released 44 seasons of Survivor since 2000, and with that many iterations of the reality competition series, some are bound to be flops. The producers are constantly trying new things, leading to massive success (re: hidden immunity idols), and others have been complete hits and misses (re: Edge of Extinction). But bad twists and themes aren’t the only contributors to the criteria of the show’s worst seasons; sometimes, a cast can lead to a season’s downfall. Read on for our five least favorite Survivor competitions.

Since the premier of Survivor season 44, we’ve been introduced to some pretty unique contestants. Carolyn Wiger makes people tune in for her silly antics, and Dr. Will is continuing to make a name for himself after appearing on other shows like Big Brother 2, and The Price is Right.
However, there’s only one contestant this season who managed the impressive task of raising $150,000 for coronavirus (Covid-19) relief in only two weeks. Her name is Claire Rafson, and she is clearly a force to be reckoned with.

When the coronavirus hit the U.S., Rafson was fresh out of college.

CBS’ Survivor is back for its 44th season, and these contestants are ready to outwit, outplay and outlast like never before. The premiere introduced a new hidden (or not so hidden) immunity idol, had three medical interventions, and showed the first successful use of the Shot in the Dark. Watching this premiere felt like watching history in the making. And as we look forward to history being made in the rest of this season, we can also look back on some of Survivor’s biggest moments from the past. Who can forget the whirlwind romance between “Boston” Rob Mariano and Amber Brkich? Although everyone was anxiously waiting to see who would be crowned as the Sole Survivor, the real surprise came moments before that, when Mariano got down...

Survivor has changed immensely in the 23 years it has been on CBS. Producers have introduced hidden immunity idols, removed the fan favorite auction, resorted to revealing the Sole Survivor during the Final Tribal Council, and so much more. But even with these format modifications, one aspect of Survivor has yet to change in recent seasons.

The Immunity Challenge for Survivor 44 Episode 2 on CBS featured the three tribes — Ratu, Soka, and Tika — racing through an obstacle course to get to a snake maze. The first two tribes to finish the maze would win reward and immunity, and the losing tribe would face Tribal Council.

Survivor castaways rarely form romantic connections, aka showmances, during the game. And that’s mostly because they’re focused on winning the $1 million and the title of Sole Survivor, but also because they go days and weeks without taking a shower or brushing their teeth. However, every once in a while, two players can’t deny their chemistry (which seems to be happening in season 44), and a Survivor showmance forms.

As a quick note, our list of the five most recent Survivor showmances doesn’t include couples who got together after their seasons ended or before they began.
The CBS reality competition series’ last showmance was between Dan Rengering and Kara Kay in David vs. Goliath. Producers assigned them to the Goliath tribe to start the game, and they immediately hit it off.

Netflix recently added Survivor Season 32 to its streaming library, introducing a new group of people to the Brains vs. Brawn vs. Beauty cast, including the season’s winner Michele Fitzgerald. Michele is a bit of a controversial figure in the Survivor community. But despite the pushback she received after the season 32 finale aired, Michele has continuously proved why she deserved to win in the years following her first television appearance.

After 43 seasons, Survivor has had plenty of champions that fans believe shouldn’t have won the game. Viewers of the CBS reality competition series have strong opinions, so it’s difficult for everyone to agree on whether or not a Sole Survivor is “worthy” of the title. And unfortunately for the Survivor Season 32 winner, their triumph is one of the most controversial decisions in the show’s history.
