A Couple of Interesting Scenes
MovieGuy-1092428 June 2022
The first scene in this movie is worth seeing. I'm sure it was the inspiration for Totò's character in the movie L'oro di Napoli (The Gold of Naples), and Nino Taranto executes the role with talent. Hélène Rémy is lovely as Taranto's fiance and Francesco Golisano skillfully and sympathetically plays the role of his faithful friend and fellow thief.

After starting well, the movie began heading in a direction I didn't like and I turned it off. A little while later, I thought I realized where it was going and I finished it, but I was wrong. I was very disappointed with the direction the plot took. I believe my plot would have been better.

Watch the first scene and another one with Francesco Golisano so you can appreciate their talents and then turn this movie off before you have the chance to be disappointed by the plot.
