With so much hype surrounding shows’ Christmas and Halloween specials, it’s easy to forget that there have been some great St. Patrick’s Day episodes in the TV world. So here are a lucky seven episodes that’ll get you excited to celebrate the holiday! Or make you want to stay at home and chill, since all are available to stream on Netflix.
“30 Rock”
Like a double rainbow, “30 Rock” gave its fans not one, but two reasons to get excited, as it aired two St. Patrick’s Day episodes in 2009 and 2012. However, the 2009 episode, “The Funcooker,” is the standout. Written by Tom Ceraulo and Donald Glover, the episode sees Liz Lemon (Tina Fey) attend jury duty, in which the woman on trial hilariously reflects Liz’s own work problems. She must also juggle problems that arise when her show’s stars (Tracy Morgan and Jane Krakowski) pass out and curse while hosting the St.

I don't know if you've seen Turbo Kid or not, but it's one of the most wickedly fun movies! It's like a hardcore, post-apocalyptic Mad Max style film but with BMX bikes. If you enjoyed the movie, you've gotta check out this short film/music video that is set in the same universe. It's called "No Tomorrow," and it's a prequel story that focuses on the character Apple and leads up to the point before she meets Turbo Kid.
The short offers us a sweet and slightly demented story in which Apple's new friend dies and she still decides to drag him along in the desolate wasteland to keep her company.
The music was composed by Le Matos (Jean-Nicolas Leupi and Jean-Philippe Bernier), and the lyrics and vocals come from Pawws (Lucy Taylor). ...

“No Tomorrow feat. Pawws” is a musical short film for Le Matos' title track from the Turbo Kid soundtrack. It is directed by the original Turbo Kid directors Rkss!
The story is a prequel to the film featuring Laurence Leboeuf who reprises her role as Apple. Through the video we follow her in her adventure from the other side of the Wasteland, right before her memorable encounter with the Kid.
Fans of Turbo Kid will love being thrown back into the wild, post-apocalyptic world full of strange creatures, characters and gore!

Before we get too far in, let us say this: There are so many more shows coming out. Even limiting our list to the upcoming debuts on broadcast TV, we still have “Timeless,” “No Tomorrow,” “Rocky Horror Picture Show” and “Man With a Plan,” to name just a few.
But over the past few weeks, Fall TV has kicked into high gear. With prominent new releases like “Lethal Weapon,” “Designated Survivor” and “Pitch” as well as low-profile favorites like “Speechless” and “Son of Zorn,” there’s been a lot of new options to sift through. Which ones should you be watching? Which shows should you skip? Which pilots are worth sampling, and which series should have a permanent slot on your DVR?

TV vets Kiefer Sutherland, Michael Weatherly and Kevin James could have another smash series on their hands.
Sutherland’s new ABC drama “Designated Survivor,” Weatherly’s new CBS series “Bull” and James’ freshman comedy “Kevin Can Wait” (also for the Eye network) are among the shows testing highest among potential audiences, just days before next Monday’s launch of the 2016-2017 TV season.
Research firm Ipsos Connect has regularly polled an average of more than 2,000 TV viewers age 18-49 over the past three weeks, gauging their awareness of this fall’s new TV titles – and whether or not they intend to tune in. One of the hottest new trailers of the year wasn't a movie promo, but This Is Us from NBC.
Is it worth watching, though? We're giving our opinion on that and the network's foray into the time traveling business, Timeless, below. Take a look!
Timeless - Mondays at 10/9c - October 3
First Impression: Time Travel is the big thing for 2016-17, and Timeless is a good representation of the subject.
A history professor (Abigail Spencer), a soldier (Matt Lanter) and a scientist (Paterson Joseph) are asked by a government agency to trust them, get into a time machine and try to stop a villain (Goran Visnjic) who is trying to change time for nefarious purposes.
Of course, nothing is really as it seems, and the three jump into this mission with very little background knowledge other than their own specialties.
There is wonder, mischief and disaster waiting for them, but they're up for the challenge.

The CW has a lot of superhero dramas.
That much was addressed at the Television Critics Association Summer press tour today, August 11.
Of the fall shows, Arrow, Supernatural, The Flash and Supergirl are all on tap for full, 22 episode seasons.
All four shows performed well in the ratings last season, so it was a given that they would get full seasons.
The Vampire Diaries, which is going into its final season, has 16 episodes left.
Expect a lot of character returns for the truncated final season of the vampire drama.
Both freshman fall dramas, Frequency & No Tomorrow have 13 episode orders. This is the norm for new series on broadcast television.
Crazy Ex-Girlfriend Season 2 has been capped at 13 episodes, but Legends of Tomorrow has the option of having more episodes added.
Legends cooled off a lot from its high flying premiere, so The CW are no doubt cautious about ordering more episodes...

The CW president Mark Pedowitz says he learned quite a bit from the recent controversy surrounding “The 100” – but perhaps not in the way you’d expect.
Some fans were taken aback in Season 3 after Lexa (Alycia Debnam-Carey) was killed just after with sleeping with another woman. The death was considered a hallmark in the “Bury Your Gays” trope, in which critics pointed to how often Lgbtq characters die on television.
Pedowitz said he was surprised by the backlash on social media. “Social media goes both ways,” he said. “They can adore you and they can bite you. At the same time, we’ve learned that you have to support your showrunner. It’s about the storytelling.”

Despite The CW putting out some of the greatest and most original hourlong series — Crazy Ex-Girlfriend, Jane the Virgin, a growing roster of superhero programs — it's been hard to watch most of them in a timely fashion. They exist on Hulu, but sparingly, and Netflix usually waits about a year to put them on its platform. But, per a press release from Netflix, they've reached a deal where each CW show will be available to stream just eight days after the season finale. This deal not only includes CW's current programming like Arrow and The Flash but upcoming new shows like Riverdale (based on the Archie comics), Frequency, and No Tomorrow. The new exclusivity deal will also likely have an impact on Hulu — Hulu's deal will soon expire, leaving Netflix the only streaming competitor to watch CW programs.

Hail to the “Supergirl” Chief: “Wonder Woman” herself, Lynda Carter, has signed on to appear on multiple episodes of the series as it moves to The CW in Season 2.
But she won’t be playing the iconic comic book character this time. Carter will star as the President of the United States starting in episode 3.
The CW hasn’t shared any information beyond that, but Carter joins other actors from the DC Comics TV universe who have made their way to “Supergirl,” including Dean Cain. And, of course, current DC TV stars are now popping up, including Grant Gustin as “The Flash.”

Carter, of course, famously played “Wonder Woman” on the hit 1970s series. This also isn’t the first time Carter has made a return to the world of DC Comics on TV, as she also guested on an episode of “Smallville.

The CW has revealed premiere dates for its 2016-2017 roster beginning in early October. Its slate does include a handful of new series set to debut around that time, but honestly? This line-up is a solid reminder that when it comes to designing an interconnected small-screen comic book world, The CW’s DC universe is tough to beat.
After getting dropped from ABC, Supergirl flies over to the network that it was always destined for, for its second season. As The CW is currently home to DC adaptations Arrow, The Flash and Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl already crossed over with the former, it’s looking like we can expect even more interaction between these titles.
The rest of the network’s line-up looks packed with more genre fare; the Frequency reboot, hour-long comedy No Tomorrow, Jane The Virgin, The Vampire Diaries, Crazy Ex-Girlfriend and the unstoppable Supernatural.

After one season CBS has pulled the plug on Limitless, the telly sequel to the Bradley Cooper movie...
We're hearing today that CBS has opted to cancel its Limitless TV series. The televisual follow-up to Bradley Cooper’s 2011 movie will not return for a second season.
Limitless showrunner Craig Sweeny broke the news himself, via Twitter, and also took the time to nix any rumours that the show could move to a different network/platform...
I'm truly sad to report that #Limitless will not continue on any platform. Thanks so much to everyone who watched.
— Craig Sweeny (@CraigSweeny) May 25, 2016
The official reasons for this cancellation haven’t been stated publicly, but ratings could well have played a part. The show’s on-the-night American ratings started at 9.86 million for the pilot episode, but by the 22nd and final episode of the season they had dropped down to 5.71 million.

Brandon Camp, son of Joe Camp, will write and direct a reboot of the cute dog franchise "Benji" for Blumhouse Productions.
Yes Blumhouse, the microbudget studio responsible for "Paranormal Activity," "Insidious," "The Purge," and "Sinister" franchises, is behind the project which will allow Brandon free creative rein on the film just like his father when he created the original 1970s films and series outside the studio system.

Mere days ago it was revealed that Supergirl, the DC television series that began its life on CBS, was jumping to The CW Network. On The CW, it would be part of a slate that includes several other DC shows, which are all produced by the same man: Greg Berlanti (Pictured above). Now comes word that there's already a special crossover event planned for this December!
In a statement during the unveiling of their fall slate, CW president Mark Pedowitz mentioned the addition of Supergirl to its growing roster of programs:
