Joe Taylor (born July 3, 1946), who portrayed Bobby Sloan, was four years older than Andy Davis (born August 9, 1950), who portrayed his father, Alan Sloan.
Other than five scenes - the death scene at the gas station in the beginning, the funeral scene at the end, the scene where the ambulance attendants get paid by the mortuary owner, the scene where Dina walks in on Danielle and Sarong Girl, and the bar scene near the beginning - no scene in the movie has more than two actors in it.
Unusually, there are three actors credited as "introducing," Reid Smith, Joe Taylor, and Matt Bennett.
The film played first-run at a downtown Seattle hardtop theater in February of 1971. The newspaper ads called it "The Secret of Dinah East."
