Fun, but Wasn't Necessary.

Returning with the same characters, music and storyline, we can expect something similar to the first movie. But no. I think this sequel did stick out a lot, even though all of the references and way of action were similar to the previous. The music was the same, some new songs, but they weren't as good as in the first film. The story felt too messy, and it took a time before everything went to the right place. Many random things were included here, too, some of them were funny and enjoyable, others not. While this wasn't a successful sequel to me, I think it had some good material that lifted the rating higher that I would actually do. First of all the ironi they put into the dialogues, bringing back some jokes that can be easily remembered and compared to the first movies ones. The acting was on a good level, the characters from the first film didn't really change and the actors played just like they did previously: Nice and average. Just great at fitting their roles. The second pro was the good second half of the film when things were starting to evolve better, and the ending had multiple good plot twists and a fun and tricky twisted ending. The effects felt a little better here, yet I don't see a big change. But you know, in here, the humor is the most important part, not a few gunshots. The camera filming was nice, for the budget of the film and all of the equipment they received, I think they were very creative with many solutions (Not just talking about filming). After all, it isn't a very good sequel, but acceptable. Some fun, some humor, and if you liked the first one you can watch this part for the sake of completing it.

A great sequel to a good film

Though some might disagree, I think "Kilerow Dwoch" (Two Killers), a Polish made action comedy making fun of all big-budget Hollywood action films, is even more hilarious than the previous "Kiler" of 1997. This sequel has everything that a viewer could ask for. More action, more "laugh-so-hard-you-fall-of-the-seat" comedy, and even as the title already mentions, two killers!! I did have my doubts about it being as good as the first film when I saw it in the cinema first time around. But after watching it a few more times on video (as I now own it as well), I was convinced that Juliusz Machulski made a very worthy sequel which in a lot of aspects actually surpasses the original.

Don't waste your time!

Very good director - Juliusz Machulski made an awful movie. Polish cinema was great in 60's, 70's and 80's. In 90's many directors wanted to make "American movies". But american mass culture is like a pink sugar mice. And so are these movies. If you want good Polish comedy, watch Seksmisja or Vabank. There are many great Polish comedies written and directed by Bareja, but - I suppose - you have to live in Poland in 70's or 80's to understand them :)

Want to see the best Polish comedy of recent years?

If you want to see the best Polish comedy of the 90s I recommend you to rent Kilerów 2óch. A great fun even for those who are not very oriented in the problems of the Polish life reality. Real moviegoers will be pleased also as they will find many Hollywood films jokes...
