I don't know what this was and I didn't see all of it, however long it was.
It could have been a skit on David Letterman or Conan O'Brien for all I knew, with Tina Yothers as Tonya Harding, which would be perfect casting.
We see Yothers as Harding, as lovely looking as she can be, practicing on the ice with the other girls, among them, Nancy Kerrigan (no, not the real Kerrigan).
Yothers manages fake, trying-to-be-friendly smiles as she seeks to smooth things over with Kerrigan.
"Hey, Nancy, how about going to the mall after practice?" Nancy gives no response nor does she acknowledge Tonya.
"Hey, Nancy, wanna go to the movies later on?" Again, no acknowledgement.
Even with the second inquiry, we could hear the tinge of venom begin to appear in Yothers' voice, an ability the child actress mastered with Michael J. Fox, Justine Bateman, Meredith Baxter and Michael Gross.
Now definitely ticked off and knowing how to lash out, Yothers let one more line go.
"Hey, Nancy, how long you gonna keep that bee up your butt?" If somebody throws a jab at you like that, there is no way you can dodge it.
Yothers may not be a natural at delivering the lines, like Groucho Marx, but with a writer, she can fire off killer lines like a howitzer.
This looked funny, but I guess it is highly unlikely it will ever appear anywhere on DVD or even TV after a dozen years.
